AdmissionsAll referrals begin with a no-charge assessment by a qualified mental health professional. The assessment concludes with recommendations for treatment. Only a psychiatrist can admit to an inpatient program. Millwood provides various caring options to help people of all ages. Many times problems can be addressed in a less restrictive environment. Referral RelationsThe Millwood Services Teams view its patient care efforts as an extension of the professional community. We communicate with other referral sources from the outset of the initial communication through treatment and discharge and into aftercare. Assessment ProcessFollowing the assessment, the staff of each access center will make referrals for outpatient, partial hospital or inpatient care based on individual treatment needs. Our access centers can also help families determine the financial resources available for health care costs.
