For many the holidays are a time of celebration, family gatherings, laughter and joy…

Unfortunately for others the Holidays can be a time of increased depression, frustration, isolation, and can trigger a person’s desire to abuse alcohol or drugs.

Millwood Hospitals Access Department will be available 24 hours a day during the holidays to assists patients, families and referring professionals in offering no-cost assessments to anyone who might need assistance with a mental health or substance abuse problem.

Millwood HospitalMillwood Hospital, a 120-bed licensed facilty, and The Excel Center provide mental health and chemical dependency care. Since 1971, people of all ages have relied on Millwood's extensive and confidential services to help overcome emotional and chemical dependency problems.

Our goal is to help individuals address mental health and chemical dependency problems successfully. We offer specialized care for Special People.

Assessment Process

Our "Rapid Assessment/Rapid Intake" process distinguishes us from many other hospitals. Once Millwood is contacted, help begins in a matter of hours — not days or weeks — beginning with a no-charge assessment by a qualified mental health professional.
