Robert Bennett, MD
Medical Director

Dr. Bennett is a graduate of Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He completed his residency at St. Luke’s Hospital in New York where he was chief resident. Dr. Bennett is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Bennett treats both adult and adolescent patients, and also conducts psychoanalysis. He joined the staff of Millwood Hospital in 2003, where he is currently the Medical Director.

Farida Ali, MD

Dr. Ali graduated from medical school at Gandhi Medical College in India. Upon moving to the United States, she completed her residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, along with a fellowship specializing in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Ali has conducted extensive research in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, particularly regarding depression in this population. She is a member of both the American Medical Association and the Texas Medical Association. Dr. Ali joined the Medical Staff in 2008. She sees patients at the Excel Center of Fort Worth.

Syed Bukhari, MD

Dr. Bukhari is a graduate of Nishtar Medical College, Pakistan. He completed his residency at Harlem Hospital Center/ Columbia University. Dr. Bukhari is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is trained in TMS. He has vast expertise in community mental health. Dr. Bukhari joined Millwood Hospital in 2020 as a member of the medical staff and assumed the position of Medical Director of Geriatric Services. Dr. Bukhari has extensive experience working with adult and geriatric patients with various psychiatric conditions.

Hemant Day, MD

Dr. Day graduated from Christian Medical College in India. Upon moving to the United States, he completed his residency at the University Of Kansas School Of Medicine. He completed a fellowship specializing in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at UT Southwestern in Dallas, where he has also participated in research regarding Bipolar Disorder in children and adolescents. Dr. Day has been affiliated with Millwood Hospital and The Excel Centers since 2004, where he is currently the Medical Director of the Excel Fort Worth Child/Adolescent Outpatient Program.

Rupinder Bhatia, MD

Dr. Bhatia graduated from medical school in India. Upon moving to the United States, he completed his residency at the University of Kansas, School of Medicine, as well as completing a fellowship specializing in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Bhatia is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, with a secondary specialty in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He joined the staff at Millwood Hospital in 2001.

Louis Costello, MD

Dr. Costello is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, College of Medicine. He completed his residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital, and a fellowship specializing in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Costello is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, with a secondary specialty in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. When Dr. Costello is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family. Dr. Costello joined the staff of Millwood Hospital in 2000, where he is currently the Medical Director of the inpatient Child/Adolescent unit, and the Medical Director of Excel Lewisville Child/Adolescent outpatient program.

Shahzad Saeed Allawala, MD

Dr. Allawala is a graduate of Sindh Medical College located in Karachi, Pakistan. Dr. Allawala is also active on both the Texas State Medical Board and Arkansas State Medical Board. Dr. Allawala is a member of the American Psychiatry Association.
